Welcome to Jing Si Books & Cafe, an oasis of tranquility nestled in the heart of Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya. Located at 10, Jalan 19/36, this charming cafe is not just a place for coffee; it’s a serene retreat that perfectly blends the love of literature and leisurely sipping.

As you step inside, the peaceful ambiance envelops you. The soft melodies of R&B piano music drift through the air, creating an inviting atmosphere that is both calming and conducive for study or relaxation. With minimalist decor and a scent of freshly brewed beverages, the setting encourages patrons to kick back, unwind, and lose themselves in a good book or thoughtful conversation.

Jing Si Books & Cafe excels in providing not just delightful drinks but also a wholesome experience. Though the specific menu items weren’t shared, regulars rave about the rich cocoa and healthy drink options, which align with the cafe’s focus on nurturing both body and soul. Coupled with their delightful biscuits served alongside hot chocolate, every sip and bite becomes a treat for the senses.

What truly sets Jing Si apart is its commitment to creating a 'Zen' environment. Customers have consistently praised the cafe for its cleanliness and aesthetic appeal. The space offers a perfect setting for students to study, friends to catch up over tea, or individuals seeking a quiet hideaway. One reviewer, Natacha Chappron, beautifully encapsulated the experience, noting that the atmosphere is perfect for doing homework or just enjoying peaceful moments.

However, if you’re planning to stay connected, take note—the cafe does not offer WiFi. Many patrons, like Pui Cheng Lum, recommend bringing your mobile data instead. This lack of connectivity, however, adds to the tranquil ethos of the cafe, encouraging guests to disconnect from digital demands and truly immerse themselves in their surroundings.

In a world that often seems chaotic, Jing Si Books & Cafe invites you to slow down and savor each moment. Whether you’re an ardent reader, a meticulous student, or someone who simply enjoys the calming effect of a peaceful ambiance, this local gem will surely exceed your expectations. Stop by for a drink, let the soft tunes wash over you, and experience the unique blend of literature and leisure that Jing Si offers.

It's honestly a really nice atmosphere and café; they have good drinks; the biscuits that came with the hot chocolate were really nice. The music that was playing, soft r&b piano(?), was quite lovely and isn't loud and distracting—plus it's very quiet; really nice to do homework, or just work in general. The only major downside is that there is no wifi, so I'd recommend getting data of some sort before coming here, otherwise it's lovely <3

The cafe is so pretty, clean and peaceful. I really loved it. The cocoa tastes so rich and crackers were delicious. Only problem is that there's no wifi

Recommend if you want a quiet place to study, work or chill. The drinks here are healthier option. Only downside is there is no WiFi. You are given a bag here to remove your shoes. It felt comfortable here.

Love this cafe. Quite place for people to think or work. Great location for parent to wait for their kids at the music class. They served coffee, tea and other beverages. No food though. I frequent the cafe staffs are nice and very helpful too.

Today it was my first time visiting this place. I love how the senior brother greeted me and guided me throughout the entire process after I told him it was my first time visiting this place. The pomelo tea is a must to order, hot water is refillable. When I found everything was peaceful and tranquil, a senior sister was talking on the phone loudly. The voice still remained loud even after she hung up the call and talked to the senior brother. I would love to give a 5-star rating if she’s willing to lower down her voice. Will definitely come back!
